Right now, as it stands, Doug and I are at 11 pages--which is a little weird for a short story--so we may try to trim it back to 10 or spread it out to 12. We had a false alarm the other day when we thought we had found a home for the story--but it wasn't a good fit for the material in the anthology. More to come on that...

I've got pending articles with Roger Stern and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa heading to Newsarama sooner than later. I also have a Steve Niles interview coming.

I've also started to feel out the "X-Beat" for Newsarama, now that Matt has given me that task. Works for me--I love those damn books. Look for interviews with Charlie Huston and Jason Aaron over their X-Force One-Shot as well as pieces with Simon Spurrier, Rick Remender and Daniel Way in regards to their work with Wolverine.

Have to work all weekend at my "slave job". Not looking forward to it--but I am a slave to those little green pieces of blended cloth and paper.

Next entry--look for some concept art for "The Mantle" by Bob Rivard and possibly a page or two from "Haunted" by Doug Draper. I've been so fortunate to have both of these talented individuals to work with.

Didn't get to see Katie this week--understandably so--but I miss her and Karyn both. Her birthday and my Dad visiting really made my month. She's really becoming quite a unique little person--I think Karyn and I really lucked up when it comes to how perfect Katie is turning out. I'm totally putting her on a pedestal and setting the bar of expectations high--once you meet her though...you just know she's going to be someone special in life.

Miserably busy, aren't I? At least I'm relatively happy...more to come on that too. :)

Thanks for reading.

A Tease of Things To Come...

Last week, one of my cohorts and "Breakfast" artist, Doug Draper sent me a character study of me...from 10 years in the past.
